Originally conceived as a purely residential space, the project was reimagined as a multifunctional reception environment, integrating a private kitchen, wine tasting area, and reading space. Within a limited floor area, the design focuses on reorganizing light, circulation, and public–private boundaries, allowing the space to transition naturally between openness and intimacy.

Guided by the theme “Bringing Light In, Reshaping Flow,” a skylight draws natural light down to the basement level, while a sculptural staircase establishes visual and experiential connections between floors. Light becomes the medium that traverses levels, redefining the rhythm of movement and daily use.

On the ground floor, the primary reception area is articulated through warm travertine, seamlessly integrating kitchen equipment, doors, and storage surfaces. Living functions are subtly embedded within the materials, creating a pure and calming atmosphere.

As light and shadow shift across the surfaces, the space gains a tranquil and composed presence. Beyond practicality, it carries emotional depth and memory, offering a layered experience of life, gathering, and ritual.
